This page explains what data Glycohero collects, how it is used, and your choices. It applies to the website at bloodglucosehero.com and to the Glycohero mobile app on iOS.
What we collect
The mobile app
Glycohero does not require an account, does not ask for personal information, and does not transmit your gameplay to any server. Game progress (which levels you have unlocked, your selected character, audio mute state) is stored locally on your device using your operating system's standard storage. You can clear it at any time by deleting the app or clearing app data.
We do not collect names, email addresses, contacts, location, microphone, camera, photos, health data, or any device identifier from inside the app.
The website (bloodglucosehero.com)
The website uses two third-party services:
- Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website. Cloudflare may log standard request information (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and performance, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is used to understand which pages people visit and how they get to the site. GA4 sets cookies and may collect a truncated IP address, device and browser information, and pages viewed. We do not link this data to any individual identity. See Google's privacy policy for details.
Subscriptions and lifetime unlock
Glycohero offers two auto-renewing subscriptions (monthly and annual, each with a 7-day free trial) and a one-time lifetime unlock. All payments are processed by Apple on iOS — Glycohero does not collect or store your payment information, billing address, or card details. Those stay with Apple.
Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. To cancel, open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. The lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase and does not auto-renew.
Payment processing
To validate purchases and manage subscription state, the Glycohero app uses RevenueCat as a receipt-validation proxy. RevenueCat receives only what is needed to verify your purchase with Apple: an anonymized App User ID (a random identifier generated by RevenueCat, not tied to your name or email), the transaction ID returned by Apple, and your current subscription state (active, in trial, or expired). RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address, billing address, payment instrument, or device identifiers from Glycohero.
How we use this information
Aggregated, non-identifying website analytics help us understand which content is useful and improve the site. Server logs are used for security and to keep the site online. We do not sell any data, and we do not share data with advertisers.
Cookies
The website itself does not set cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies on your browser when you visit. You can block these in your browser settings, opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or use a privacy-focused browser that blocks analytics by default.
Children
Glycohero is intended for general audiences and is rated for all ages. Because the app does not collect personal information, no special data is gathered from children. Parents who wish to limit data sharing on the website can use the cookie controls described above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information held about you, and to object to certain processing. Because we do not collect personal information beyond website analytics, the data available to act on is very limited. To make a request, email us at contact@bloodglucosehero.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be noted prominently on the website.
