Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply when you use the Glycohero mobile app (the "App") on iOS or Android, and the website at bloodglucosehero.com (the "Site"). By installing, opening, or using the App or the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

License

Glycohero grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices that you own or control, solely for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where applicable law expressly permits it. We may revoke this license if you breach these Terms.

Subscriptions and Lifetime Unlock

Glycohero offers two auto-renewing subscriptions and a one-time lifetime unlock:

Prices in other currencies are shown to you at purchase time and follow Apple's standard pricing tiers. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. To cancel, open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; you will keep premium access until that date. Free trials convert to paid subscriptions if you do not cancel before the trial ends.

All payments are processed by Apple under the Apple Standard EULA, which governs the underlying purchase. Glycohero does not collect, store, or have access to your payment information. Refunds are handled by Apple — see Apple's refund policy.

Educational purpose only — not medical advice

Glycohero is an educational game. Anything the App teaches about blood glucose, food, exercise, sleep, or related topics is for general information only. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, and not a substitute for professional care.

In-game blood sugar values and effects are game mechanics, not personalized health predictions. Real blood glucose response varies between individuals and depends on many factors the game cannot model. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical questions, and never change medication, diet, or exercise based on something you saw in the App without speaking to your doctor first.

Acceptable use

The App has no accounts, no user-generated content, and no social features, so most acceptable-use concerns do not apply. Briefly: use the App lawfully and do not attempt to interfere with it, the Site, or other users' devices. You are responsible for the device you install the App on.

Disclaimers

The App and the Site are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Glycohero does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or that it will meet your specific needs. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Glycohero and its developers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App or the Site. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, the above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Termination

You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as Disclaimers, Limitation of liability, and Governing law) will survive.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes to the App, the Site, or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the App or the Site after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. This does not affect any consumer rights you have under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
